Mike has been accused of always hamming it up. That could be a natural side effect of his family business – photo booth rentals. He’s quick with a set of rabbit ears (sometimes a peace sign) and a big, goofy smile. Mike is an entrepreneur through and through. He knows the best way to understand what people want is to get out of the office and spend time with them. So, when he rents a photo booth, he’s likely to stay for the reception, too. And, when he builds a new software tool with iQ, he logs off the mainframe and spends time with the users.
At iQ, Mike focuses on simplifying the complex. He goes deep on understanding complex business requirements and works with designers to deliver interactions that are easy and intuitive. He speaks in all the modern languages – HTML/XHTML/XML, C# .NET, C# ASP.NET MVC 2, JavaScript/jQuery (to name a few) – and has very high (WC3) standards. He standardizes and streamlines, designs and develops, all while also coming up with break thru ideas for what’s next.
Mike has worked in telecommunications and technology design for right around 10 years. He’s an expert in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirement definition, prototyping, proof of concept, design, interface implementation, testing, and maintenance.
